Developed by the Earth-based weapons company, Howardson Industries, The GDF-00(A) Vigilance is the first in line for the X-series. The Vigilancefeatures innovations in gear driver technology. Equipped with an OMNIDRIVE, the unit's output is massive, enabling it to overpower any other gear developed during its time. (And enabling the Gear Driver to carry around up to one hundred times it's own weight. The Omnidrive's output is so massive that the Vigilance can afford to be equipped with thick and heavy armor, and still be faster and more maneuverable than an EXCEED-PURSUIT TYPE.

Aside from the omnidrive, the vigilance's cockpit is also equipped with the psycho-link system, this enables the pilot to link directly with the unit and perform actions with a mere thought. (As opposed to manual piloting)
Resulting in very fast reaction times and unit response.

Hadron Antiparticle Cannon G-type
Using the Omnidrive's massive output, the Hadron Antiparticle Cannon is capable of wiping out entire battalion formations of gear drivers with a single shot. Due to the dispersed amount of antiparticles, however, heavily armored starships and the infamous Artemis tank are out of the question. Can only be fired thrice before overheating and cooling down for 24 hours.

Hyperium Glaive-
Developed by pilot Axel Wellworth, the Hyperium Glaive was designed as the melee weapon of choice for the vigilance. Made from hyperium alloy, The glaive can be used as a shield for missiles,grenades, bullets, and all other physical-based ammunition.
